Matthew Gray is an artist working primarily in still photography.  

STUPID CANDY imagery is included in The Microsoft Collection as well as numerous private collections.

STUPID CANDY relies on commercially available candy pieces. The project continues with SEQUEL and BAD SWEETS involving custom created shapes reflecting cultural icons, common and unique objects. These shapes and forms are created, molded and cast in the democratic medium of simple sugar based candy with the process finally realized in the photographic stage still without a camera, film or digital manipulation.Editions are hand printed in the US by a professional fine art printer on archival, acid free museum grade Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl 285 gram. The image quality, color and clarity are exceptional with a beautiful, rich saturation holding superb colors with a semi-gloss surface. Prints are numbered and signed by hand on the reverse side.

Frames are professionally built to gallery standards in black or silver aluminum. Anti-reflective, UV coated museum glass is standard giving noticeably superior clarity and protection.
