Benjamin Hopf & Constantin Wortmann won the IF Product Design Award in 2005 for the Molecular Lighting System.

The 'molecular' balls can be assembled into clusters up to eight balls and used as table lamps, pendants, sconces and floor lamps.

There are three rectangular, flat surfaces on every Molecular_Light ball: the flat surfaces allow an installation in corners, edges and a combination of up to eight balls. Using the ingenious aluminium fixation pyramid the installation to walls and the assembly of several Molecular_Light balls to each other is very easy. To change the light source just pull off the PE shade.
